| November 26, 2004 @ 12:30pm | Hi devil,
After you complete the installation you are automagically redirected to your site login page (assuming you had no installation errors).
As a future reference, there are several ways you can login to your FlexCMS site (I've listed them below).
You mentioned that you had problems with your install, which could be part of the reason you cannot find your login page, etc. I tried to access your site and was greeted with mysql_connect errors, so I was unable to try to login.
My first recommendation to you would be to uninstall FlexCMS and remove the database as well.
Then reinstall FlexCMS again. Be sure to follow the install instructions included in your download.
Please let us know if you receive any error messages (and at what point in the installation you received them), etc. and we'll be happy to assist you further.
Oh and don't forget to check out the FlexCMS server requirements as well to make sure your server is equipped properly -- you will find them here.
Good luck!

------- HOW TO LOGIN TO YOUR FLEXCMS SITE
1) Go to your FlexCMS site and you should see a block on the left hand side that says LOGIN. Simply type in your username and password and click on the login button and you'll be logged into your site.
2) If you don't see the login block, you can scroll to the bottom of your FlexCMS home page and you'll see a link that says Management Login. Click on that and it will take you to the login page.
and finally
3) You may also login by going to this url:
http://insert-your-flexcms-site-url-here.com/index.php/login.html
By using any of these methods to login you'll then be able to access your Control Panel where you can begin to build your site.

Hi, my name is David, and I'm one of the authors of the FlexCMS package.
I visited your website and attempted to login with the information you supplied, however I wasn't able to even view the login page (which could present some problems!).
We've seen this problem occasionally on other sites, but as of yet have been unable to duplicate it. We do know, however, that it's due to the server's setup and how FlexCMS attempts to use the query string (the part after the name of the script file itself, like "/pages/login" or "?a=123&b=456").
So if you could give us some more information, perhaps a phpinfo printout, or ftp access to your account to try and debug it, we would be happy to see if we can help you get it running. If you need to send any information you wouldn't want to post here, please email it to
Thanks, David

Having same login issue | February 25, 2005 @ 3:44pm | I'm having exactly the same issue as the original poster. FlexCMS seems to install OK, but when I want to log in, nothing happens. One of the suggestions was to uninstall and reinstall FlexCMS. Is deleting all installed FlexCMS files sufficient, or does anything else need to be done? |
