Have a question about creating a XML Sitemap for Google relative to Google Webmaster tools in terms of submitting the XML Sitemap to them.
Not sure if FlexCMS has the XML already created and tucked away somewhere?

I started playing with a script to do that one day but it never got finished. There's a lot that comes into play because it's not just a list of pages, it's also data about update frequency, importance relative to other pages, and it's actual forward facing pages rather than what might be in FlexCMS as pages if you're using a script to build a number of pages.
How many pages would you say are on the site you're talking about? Are they all static pages or built from a script?

Over 30 pages created presently with a scope of about 200. These where created individually within FlexCMS from the pages section.
Ok no worries, just curious. I know there online XML Sitemap generators as well as software which you can download.

| August 14, 2010 @ 8:26pm | Ya I'd suggest one of the generators that spiders your site, that should work fine for your needs. It's something we'll be working on for the future, as that would be a nice plus to have that automatically generated. It probably ties in with search functions as well, since they also need to know all the contents of the site.
