If you're receiving "500 Internal Server Error" when trying to access your new FlexCMS installation, try chmodding your index.php file to '644' instead of the usual '777'.
If that solves your problem, also chmod the 'inc-core-admin-editor-*' files (6 of them), and you should be all set.
